MULTI-INTEREST AND CREATIVITY--- WHAT DOES THIS MEAN TO YOU
When we are younger, i know almost everybody has been in that situation or been ask this question, what do you want to be when you grow up that have cause you more anxiety. The notion of narrowly focused life is highly romanticized in our culture. Its this idea of destiny or ones true calling. The idea that we all have great purpose or we have a particular thing we are meant to do, during our journey on earth, and you need to figure out what that thing is and devote your life to it. But what if you're someone who isn't wired this way? What if there are a lot of different subjects that you're curious about, and you have many different things you want to do at a time, you may feel like you don't have a purpose and people may be seen you differently and you might feel there's something wrong with you. There nothing wrong with you, you are just a "Multipotentialites" A multipontentialite is someone with many interests and creative pursuits, you can also use one of the other terms that connote the same idea such as the polymath", the renaissance person. When a "multipotentialites became interested in something, we go hard, we observe everything we could get our hands on. We"re also used to being beginners, because we"ve been beginners all through, meaning that we posses the power of not quieting, and it also means that we"re less afraid of trying new things and stepping out of our comfort zones.
Whats more many skills are transferable across disciplines and we bring everything we've learned to every new area we pursue, so we're rarely starting from scratch, As a society, we have a vested interest in encouraging multipotentials to be them selves. In the society we found our self, we have a lot of complex multidimensional problems right now, and we need creative, out of the box thinkers to tackle them. Embrace your many passions and recognize your many ideas and try to bring them to lime light. Follow your curiosity down to those rabbit holes. Explore your interest and intersection, embracing our inner wiring leads to more satisfying. So finally i will say that the world need us the "Multipotentialites.
